What: The property must be secured and have the following:

  1. A place for assembling the Artcare A flat area of at least 80x120 feet (100x120+ is preferred) with no overhead wires - outdoor working height up to 80 ft. The surface should allow maneuvering for a heavy-duty truck weighing 40,000 pounds, meaning it must be paved or have gravel or compacted soil (like a parking lot).
  2. A place for truck, trailer, tools, and equipment storage (30x100 ft of something similar) A hangar, shed, or canopy with a footprint of 3000+ sq ft and a height of 20+ feet and gates - minimum 14 feet high and 10 feet wide - would be a significant advantage. If you do not have one, we can construct a shed for shadow and install a container for tool storage, which we will later take with us.

The access road to the property must be paved or gravel to allow for a 38’ truck weighing over 40,000 pounds with a 26’ trailer.

The purpose: is to work on the ArtCar (car for the festival), including metal work such as welding and cutting.

Where: Near LA or between Los Angeles and San Diego (No further East than Lake Elsinore). Preferably within an hour’s drive of Irvine.

Facilities: Electricity, water.

A restroom, shower, kitchen, and sleeping accommodations for several people in a case when work extends into the night would be advantageous.

Security: The property must be safe and adequately protected against theft of tools and equipment, with fencing, closed gates, motion-sensor lighting, and control over unauthorized individuals and vehicles on the premises.

Period: We need a place till Aug 27 2023
